Who am I?

My name is Lorraine Yewdall. You can find out a bit more about my professional background and qualifications below, under Biographical Information. I originate from London in the UK, but have been living and, more recently, working in the USA since 1994.

I am based in Fort Bend County, Texas, and provide complementary therapy to clients in the West Houston area.

How I work

A successful therapist must possess an essential and fundamental knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and the techniques of the complementary therapies they employ. But just as importantly, no therapist can hope to succeed without a thoroughly professional, yet sensitive approach to the needs of their client. I strive to meet and exceed all client expectations in these areas.

The holistic approach to therapy and healing will generally require that questions about life-style and medical history are asked. It should go without saying that the strictest confidentiality will be maintained at all times.

Biographical Information

Lorraine Yewdall has both received and practiced complementary therapies for many years. She first sought reflexology treatment back in the 80s, when suffering a particularly debilitating illness and other, more ‘conventional’ avenues provided no help.

Lorraine is a certified reflexologist and a member of the International Reflexology Association. She holds a prestigious qualification from the International Therapy Examination Council and is now an assistant teacher for students of reflexology on a ground-breaking  ITEC-recognized course in the USA.

She holds diplomas from the Institute of Japanese Phototherapy & Reflexology and the Montrose Natural Healing Centre in the UK, and has a diploma in Anatomy, Physiology & Reflexology from the Derwen Natural Complementary Therapy School in Texas.

The Derwen Therapy School is based in Humble, Texas and offers the highest standard of teaching for ITEC and European qualified courses in complementary therapies. These qualifications allow reflexology graduates to practice in the state of Texas without further certification.
